With a team experienced in training instructors at all levels, we have links across the ski industry worldwide and will help you find the right job at the end of the course. Both 8-week and full season work-and-train programs are available.
At the end of the course we guarantee an interview for a spot on our team at PDS Snowsport. Zermatt, St Moritz and Verbier are always keen to employ instructors who already know the ethos of the ski school.
Our Team is Elite. We have BASI Trainers, Ex Eurotest openers, Ex National Team Members for both BASI and Great Britain. Our former students have gone on to become BASI Level 4’s, Instructor Trainers and Examiners.

In partnership with SIA the program is setup to get you able to work for the winter ahead. Both 8 week and work and train seasonal programs are available. The seasonal program include training towards the Level 3 course that take place in March and April.
If you are on a gap year, sabbatical or just looking to re-skill our sole mission is to “best equip you with the skills you need to succeed”.

Outside of PDS the world is your oyster really, North and South America have great ski schools and mountains looking for qualified instructors. Then there is Australia, New Zealand, Japan and China just to name a few more options
The Level 1 instructor course is the first step on the ladder towards your career as a snowsport instructor. The hard work starts here!

The Level 2 instructor course is designed push you to the next level of your instructor training. Putting into practise the invaluable skills you developed at Level 1; you will focus on specific terrain training, advance group management skills and the importance of setting and reviewing goals.

The Level 2 instructor course is a ten day programme completed in an outside, mountain environment. We would strongly suggest you are equipped with the following basic items:

The hold a valid license as an instructor you will need to hold a valid First Aid Certificate. For snowsports this is a 16 hour, 2 day Outdoor First Aid (RQF).
This course is designed to give people working in an outdoor environment an Ofqual certified qualification. The course is recognised by outdoor associations across the UK. We use our in house First Aid Trainers that are also instructors for more info check out the link below.
