Our Avoriaz Ski School meets you at the top of the Prodains bubble in-front of the Spot Cafe for both private and group ski lessons. Instructors be waiting at the top of either bubble lift on your right, on the snow just in front of the lift exit.

Ages 5-15 all levels with groups of up to 8 children
Ages 16+ all levels catered for with group so fup to 8 people

We are proud to offer lessons in Avoriaz to skiers of any level. We specialise in training complete beginners, but also offer lessons for intermediate skiers and can even teach freestyle skiing for advanced or professional skiers and more.

Avoriaz is one of the most international ski areas in the Portes du Soleil, and we reflect that in our approach. Our professional instructors can deliver ski lessons and snowboard lessons in a range of languages, making it easy for beginner and intermediate skiers, advanced skiers, or even expert skiers to learn at their own pace.
Our Avoriaz Ski School is situated in the heart of the Portes du Soleil. The resorts development in recent years has seen it grow along its more established neighbour, Morzine. Today Avoriaz has earnt itself the well-deserved title of one of France’s leading ski resorts catering for all standards of skiing and ranking as one of the top snow destinations in the world.
Centrally located, The Avoriaz pistes are divided into four sections; Super Morzine, Lindaret, Fornet and Haut-Forts. Super Morzine serves as the main connection to Morzine and is predominantly used by beginners with Lindaret catering for more intermediate levels. It is here you can find The Stash, a conceptual snowpark created using natural materials. The Fornet area is ideal for off piste skiing between huge rocks and crevasses whilst Haut-Forts contains a number of black runs, some of which are for experts only. You’ll often see our ski school in the stash!

In 1965 Jean Vuarnet A former French Olympic downhill champion was tasked with expanding the Morzine ski area. The Fornet-bowl was the first stage in building Avoriaz into what it is today, a grand resort at 1800m linking Morzine and Les Gets to the rest of the Porte Du Soleil.
