Our Val d’Isere ski school is located in part of the Espace Killy, one of the most well known and highest ski areas in France. We offer lessons in all the areas of Val d’Isere, La Daille, Solaise and Fornet. We enjoy teaching all ages and levels of ability whether in private ski lessons, children’s ski school or adult group lessons.

Val d’Isère is a ski resort in the French Alps, near the Italian border. With nearby Tignes, it’s part of the Espace Killy ski area. Here, ski lifts give access to sites like the steep Face de Bellevarde, a black-rated piste, and the Grande Motte glacier, known for summer ski runs. The Col de l’Iseran mountain pass is a popular cycle route in summer. In town, bars and restaurants cluster around Avenue Olympique.

During the 1992 Albertville Olympics the Face de Bellevarde was used for the prestigious downhill race. The area as a whole is steeped in skiing history with the Espace Killy named after the famous French racer Jean-Claude Killy who grew up in Val d’Isere.

Ski Levels & Progression Explained

We take pride in being able to offer genuinely effective lessons to all levels of skill and ages, along with differently-abled people. Our lessons for beginners work up steadily from putting on the skis, to moving very slowly and eventually helping you to find your legs and feel confident on the slopes. Our expert lessons, on the other hand, focus on breaking mental barriers, perfecting the most subtle parts of your technique to make you faster and more skilful with every turn. Essentially, whether you can ski parallel down a black run or haven’t even touched a sledge, we can offer you the support you need to improve.

We can also provide teaching for adaptive skiing, for those with unique needs and love adapting the way we teach to the exciting progressions in the field.
