Who are the Freestyle courses for?

The courses are for any skiers wishing to learn or improve their current freestyle skiing abilities.

To join our camp we need you to be confident skiing parallel. You don’t need to have any freestyle experience to join the course, if you’re a freestyle beginner you’d be very welcome and inspired to develop your freestyle skills by the coaches and the rest of the group.

Already have some experience in the park? Want to learn how to push your skills further? Our coaches are experienced can take you to the next level.

Here are the parks available in the Porte Du Soleil:

The snowpark for everyone. One of the best shaped parks we have come across, there’s something in there for everyone. It has a great mix of kickers, rails and boxes with everything from green kickers all the way up to black kickers to throw yourself off. This park is constantly being reshaped so there’s always something new.

Don’t be intimidated by the “Big Park” though, although the kickers are best left alone unless you are comfortable on all the features in the “Baby Park” the airbag here is perfect for anyone wanting to try a new trick or, as is often the case, anyone whose bravery and enthusiasm outweighs their skill. It’s free to use and it’s the perfect place to practice in a consequence free environment. There is also the snowcross course here which is free to use and open to everyone.

1 of only 6 of its kind, a fun array of natural and wooden features under the Prolays chair. This is a great place to try the skills from the park in a more natural environment. The Stash gives us a great opportunity to jib around and get creative.

A fun lap with some great features to play on with a selection of natural and man made features. This is a great area to introduce new tricks and skills in a none threatening and safe environment.

Superpark in Les Crosets has a fantastic range of kickers to suit all abilities. With the new lifts from Avoriaz its even easier to get across to another world class park

There’s 2 different snow parks and in total more than 8 different lines, there’s plenty of features to get creative on. Everyone will find what they are looking for.

Playful space intended for the novice freestylers to experts! With a whole host of features there’s plenty for us to play on.
